Pillars of the Framework

A Working Group for AI Literacy in Teaching and Learning, which included faculty from all colleges at the University of New Haven, was tasked with creating a comprehensive framework for faculty and students. The framework was developed in Fall 2024 and action items were implemented starting in Spring 2025. This framework aligns our curriculum with the growing importance of AI, ensuring that every student who graduates from our University possesses a solid foundation in AI. Our goal is not only to prepare students for emerging technological landscapes but also to provide them with the critical thinking skills necessary to navigate the ethical dimensions of AI.
